Ann Barry

American, Senior Consultant
   
  Ann Barry, an American who has been living in France since 1966, worked for IBM France and IBM Europe from 1971 to 1992 where she held training, internal consulting and managerial posts in both staff and field. Her areas of competence range from communication and negotiations training to labor and employee relations, sales, marketing and finance.

 

Ann Barry managed, in sales, small to medium sized client accounts and as an internal consultant and program manager she was responsible for developing and implementing training programs in intercultural negotiations, change management and in depth coaching programs for IBM managers.

Ann started her own consulting business in 1992, also working with ICM on projects. She coaches and trains executives and managers in Europe and North America to develop their leadership across cultural boundaries. She delivers programs in managing global projects and negotiating in a multicultural environment.


Ann has worked with ICM on projects with Hewlett Packard, TotalFinaElf, Electricité de France, ExxonMobil, L'Oréal, Skyteam Alliance, MGE UPS Systems and ALSTOM.

Ann is an associate consultant at the Centre for Leadership Studies at the University of Exeter (U.K). She is a member of the International Society for the Psychoanalytical Study of Organisations (ISPSO) and a co-sponsor and faculty member on the Organisational Psychodynamics and Transformation Development program for managers, consultants, coaches and trainers which began in Coesfeld, Germany in 2002.

Ann works in French, English and Italian. She divides her time between Chicago and Paris.
