In the context of a global project to re-engineer manufacturing processes in a chemical company, ICM took on the change management part. During the gap assessment phase we worked with European subsidiaries to identify the gaps between the future state and the current state. ICM was totally integrated into the internal team that was handling this technical, financial and organizational assessment, which included :

  • Gaining understanding of the processes that would be re-engineered
  • Working with the managers handling Change Management to develop a gap assessment template to identify where change would be necessary in the areas of management corporate culture, HR processes, communications, etc
  • Training the people who were involved in the gap assessment process on change management and identifying the critical success factors (a four-week process involving between 20 and 30 people per site),

  • Running a stakeholder analysis exercise
  • Facilitating and contributing to developing a change management plan with the internal team and validating it with key stakeholders on the site
  • Coaching the HR and/or communications managers in owning and managing change management during the process of implementation.
