Ann Barry

Ann Barry, an American, divides her time between Paris and Chicago.

She worked for IBM France and IBM Europe from 1971 to 1992 where her two areas of responsibility were designing and managing key international training programmes as part of the management and executive development team from 1972 to 1985 and then from 1986 to 1992, as part of the IBM France sales team, she negotiated and managed key accounts in both the banking and retail sectors.

Ann began her consulting career in 1993 and works extensively around the world. Her focus is helping executives and managers develop the mind set and skills needed to work in a multi-cultural and diverse environment.   

Ann is associate consultant with ICM Associates in Neuilly. She has worked on large scale cultural audits, as well as projects to support alliances, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions.

Ann also designs and runs negotiation and conflict resolution seminars and workshops for international organisations and their managers and teams.

Ann is qualified to administer and implement the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and uses it often when working with individuals and teams.

In the United States Ann is deeply involved in several local urban ecology initiatives based on the reintroduction of native plant and animal species into the urban environment.

Her clients include EADS and Arcelor Mittal.

Ann works in English and in French and has a good working knowledge of Italian and Spanish.
