Stephanie Parry has over 30 years experience in Human Resources both within organisations and as a consultant. She is passionate about building HR as a credible business partner and has demonstrable success in working with HR teams to get closer to their clients, build their credibility and strengthen their skills.
Stephanie is currently working with a number of international HR functions who are committed to developing HR to be a relevant business partner. For example, she works with Covidien Corporation as a strategic consultant, helping the HR function implement a Voice of the Customer diagnosis and follow up with significant changes; with Deutsche Bank to build the business partnering skills of the European HR team and with EMC Corporation as a coach to senior HR directors. Stephanie also regularly mentors young, up-coming HR professionals.
Stephanie’s early HR career was in recruitment and as an HR generalist with Reckitt and Colman in the UK before choosing to specialise in Learning and Organisation Development when she joined British Airways. Throughout her career Stephanie has built extensive international experience in diverse industry sectors. Between 1998 and 2006, she was with EMC Corporation where she was part of the leadership team establishing HR in 45 countries. Subsequently she led the international Learning and Development function; she created the function, designing and implementing its strategy, building the Management and Professional Development Curricula and developing O.D. processes to support the growth of the business. Additionally she established the region’s Talent Management Strategy, developed a Leadership Development Programme for high potential leaders, as well as acted as an internal coach to senior executives. As HR became more established in the business Stephanie was responsible for the “HR for HR” approach establishing an HR competency based Development Road Map and career paths.
Stephanie has worked with ICM both as a client and a colleague on a number of transformation projects and a major EMEA initiative.
Stephanie is British and has lived in Paris for 16 years. She holds degrees in Management Science (B.Sc Hons) and Management Learning (M.A.) from the Universities of Warwick and of Lancaster in the UK.
